A Retreat Like No Other
This nest for two on the island of La Palma was built around its views. A small home tucked into a large, terraced garden that cascades down a volcanic hillside near Puntagorda, it boasts a striking pool that extends outward towards the Atlantic Ocean. It's surrounded in decks with delightful, oversized cacti and an additional promontory that's perfect for sitting and breathing in the view.
Inside, the house is light and bright, with vintage furnishings and bold global art collected by its owners on their travels from Tuscany to Morocco and South Africa. But the real focus is the landscape, captured through large picture windows in both the living area and the bedroom.
Located in one of the most beautiful nature reserves on the island, this is a haven of tranquility and inspiration, perfect for two.
The Space
This villa for rent in the Canary Islands is designed for a couple to hide away in. Located close to Puntagorda, but far enough away to feel very private, it's surrounded in large grounds with a heated infinity pool and elegant terraces.
Inside, there's an open-plan living area with a woodburning stove and a kitchen corner, a generously sized double bedroom with a large sea-view window and direct access to the terrace, plus a bright Moroccan-tiled bathroom.
Due to its location, this house is not suitable for children.
